Alca plast intends to increase its supplier reliability despite the increase in production volume

High due date performance is a key condition of long-term strengthening of market position for Alca plast, the biggest producer of sanitary equipment in Central and Eastern Europe. In the course of 2016, the company’s management therefore decided on an investment in an advanced planning project that will create the preconditions for Alca plast to gain the ability to maintain high customer service standard in the long run.

The Alca plast company has been growing continuously since its formation in 1998 and it is becoming an important player globally in its field. The total sales have approached CZK 1,5 billion in the last year. The owners of the company are convinced that the success is above all due to the consistent adherence to the company’s motto: “To always be a reliable supplier for all our customers”.

The ever increasing number of customers increases the pressure on the production itself, which has to ensure a timely delivery of the customers’ orders. That requires a quality and accurate management of the order fulfilment process. Therefore the Alca plast company has decided on an investment into strengthening this area by the implementation of an advanced production planning system (APS). As its implementation partner it has chosen the LOGIS company, a supplier with many years of experience with these projects that has proven its competence in the course of the tender as well as the consecutive elaboration of the pre-implementation study.

The co-owner, Chief Executive and CEO of the Alca plast company, Ing. František Fabičovič, states: “We plan to keep growing. We care immensely about each of our customers and we want to do everything for the satisfaction of their demands. To achieve this, we have to be able to manage better how the individual orders are carried out. I believe that the implementation of the APS project in cooperation with the LOGIS company will help us with this effort significantly.”

Ing. Tomáš Vojtík, Chief Executive and Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the LOGIS company, adds: “We are glad that Alca plast chose us as their implementation partner. Although we have decades of successful projects in the APS area behind us already, it is apparent that in the case of Alca plast we will have to face new challenges again.
